A Journey Beyond the Music

As a singer-songwriter with many years of performing arts experience, I have connected with audiences through soulful melodies and captivating storytelling. But my journey doesn't end with music; it only marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter.

As you explore this section dedicated to my film projects, you'll discover that my passion for authentic storytelling extends beyond the realm of music. With a commitment to amplifying the voices of marginalized communities, particularly LGBTQ+ refugees, I have embarked on a powerful journey in the world of filmmaking.

As a diligent Toronto Film School graduate, I have honed my theoretical knowledge and practical expertise in film production, making my mark in the industry with impactful documentaries and thought-provoking live streams. I've contributed to acclaimed projects like "And Still, We Rise" and "Call Me Kuchu," capturing compelling footage independently and remotely while working in Uganda.

One of my most personal ventures is the short documentary "Music Saved Me," a heartfelt reflection of my own experiences as the subject, director, producer, and editor. This emotional exploration earned a nomination for Best Documentary at the Toronto Film School Film Festival 2023, showcasing my dedication and skill in bringing stories to life.

Currently, I am deep in the creative process of "Shattered Reflections," a film project that draws from my personal experiences and serves as a vessel for authentic storytelling. With sensitivity, artistic integrity, and a desire to create positive change, I aim to bring this narrative to life, shedding light on the challenges and resilience of marginalized communities.

As you browse through my film projects, I hope you'll join me on this exhilarating journey beyond the music, where each frame holds a glimpse of raw emotion and human connection. Together, we can amplify voices, ignite change, and foster a world of empathy through the art of filmmaking.

Thank you for being a part of this inspiring voyage, and I hope my films resonate deeply with you, sparking meaningful conversations and uniting us in a shared passion for storytelling.
